Where Can I Serve?

Women’s Ministry

 A ministry comprised of God-fearing, spirit-filled women endeavoring to walk in obedience to our Lord and Savior.  Our goal is to minister to the spiritual and emotional needs of the women of this church and community through Bible study, fellowship and ministry.  Our desire is to further the Kingdom and bring glory to God by fully supporting the vision of our church pastors and under girding their work through diligent prayer and responsive action.

Men’s Ministry

 A ministry of men that provides various outreach projects throughout our community, supports the ministry of the local church,  and offers Biblical devotions, encouragement, prayer, fellowship and a good meal through monthly men’s fellowship meetings.

Prison Ministry

A ministry of men and women who will be traveling to correctional institutions in the surrounding area delivering a message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ in the form of music, testimonies, and messages.

Greeters and Ushers

 A ministry that reaches out to those who visit or attend our church.  Greeters extend a hand of welcome to both visitors and attendees, direct visitors to classrooms, and give general assistance to those entering the foyer and sanctuary.  Ushers seat visitors and attendees, receives tithes and offerings in the general services, and serves as need in other areas of need (parking, security, etc.)

Widows Ministry

A ministry devoted to those who have lost their spouses.  This group provides encouragement, support, and fellowship to those who have common needs and common concerns that relate to a widow and widower.

Youth & Middle School Ministry

 A ministry devoted to our youth of today, training them for the challenges of tomorrow.  This is accomplished through spiritual and practical teaching; trips and retreats with a spiritual emphasis and focus; involvement in worship through skits, plays, media, and choir; and interaction with the various groups and ministries of the local church.

Family Enrichment Night

 Christian education classes helping believers grow and mature in their walk with the Lord.  These classes are for all ages and are on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

Food Pantry Ministry

 A ministry that provides food (dry goods, canned good, personal care items, etc.) for those who have come upon hard times and need assistance in this area to provide for their families.

Nursing Home Ministry

An outreach ministry that provides worship services and fellowship to the residents of nursing homes and assisted-living facilities in the local area. These include both Oak View Nursing Home & the Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

Music Ministry

A vital part of our worship services, consisting of various vocal groups, individuals, musical instruments and choir, all giving glory to God through music, song, and personal worship.

Library Ministry

This ministry volunteers their time and energy to look after our lending library for our church. This library allow individuals to borrow book at no cost and return them when they are finished.
